It’s been a while since I wrote. Life has been busy with study, work, and helping out with my college’s prayer team—with my family’s move and transitioning into a new place myself thrown into the mix. All good—but sometimes the sheer weight of responsibility, whatever the season you’re in, starts to weigh you down.
I’ve been discovering more and more that I can carry the burden of deadlines, expectations, and the innumerable problems that come up each day myself, or I can roll them onto the Lord. And paradoxically, the more time I spend in prayer, the more productive I am able to be.
Recently, our prayer team put on an event for students on our campus, and I created this pdf prayer guide to hand out. It’s a compilation of some practical ways to organize prayer that I’ve come across recently and found to be immensely helpful.
Also, make sure to check out this short clip on prayer from John Piper. In it, he describes more about praying in “concentric circles.” This idea is so powerful!
May the Lord bless you as you seek His face!
